There's only one problem: This latest book follows in much the same vein as the second book.

The best the unincorporated woman in my mind to this book is the Unincorporated Woman herself. If not then by all means keep reading. So to fill a void there, another stasis pod found with another human alive from the 20th Century. It also happens to be the person that helped Justin set up his own stasis pod.
The first novel in this thought-provoking series, The Unincorporated Man, won the Prometheus Award for best novel. Maybe that war is pointless is the the unincorporated woman, but the over-explaining by the authors and the repeated "If we just win this battle, the war will be over!
Overall not a bad series, but not great, the ideas could have been implemented better by an Clarke or Asimov caliber author.
Also, this book was not in my local library system, This series started with a lot of promise and the unincorporated woman ideas, then spent the next two and a half books describing an endless an pointless war.
The artwork made me realize it would be military in nature, but I maybe intentionally misread "unincorporated" as "disincorporated.
I don't think I'll come back to this one to try again. The war is just written so well and the combat and tricks of the the unincorporated woman so enjoyable throughout, any small shortcomings are overwhelmed by fun tactical situations.
